Who can apply

  • Jamaican residents, generally from age 17 upward
  • Entry requirements vary by programme and level
  • Some programmes require passes in specific CSEC subjects, others have no academic prerequisite

What to bring

  • Valid government-issued photo identification
  • Tax Registration Number (TRN)
  • Birth certificate
  • Academic certificates where the programme requires them
  • Passport-sized photographs

HEART/NSTA offers certification across construction, hospitality, information technology, cosmetology, agriculture, business administration and other fields. Programmes run at different levels, from short courses to full vocational qualifications.
